10 Years Later

It's hard to believe that 10 years ago I was coming to the end of my high school career at La Salle. But the reality of that set in quickly as I drove to my 10 year my high school reunion last Saturday! I was pretty nervous, I'm not gonna lie, after all, I hadn't seen these people in 10 years and who knows how much they've changed since then. Thankfully, all my nervous jitters went away as soon as I saw all my old friends excited to see me as much as I was to see them. The night was spent laughing, reminiscing, and catching up on new and old times. We had so much fun! It really turned out better than I could've expected. I learned that people don't really change that much at all after 10 years. The cool, fun, down-to-earth people were still cool, fun, and down-to-earth while the ones that were too cool for school, still are, only now they're the odd ones out. After a few hours at Monty's, we took the party back to a friend's apartment and continued the good times there. I'm glad I had the chance to reconnect with all my old friends. I just hope it's not another 10 more years before we get together like that again.
